PCR2-ODS Datasheet

PCR2-ODS

PCR2 are bidirectional people counters that use a new type of 24 GHz radar transceiver to detect motion from both directions simultaneously.

The PCR2-ODS is designed for outdoor usage in harsh environments and is IP65 protected. When mounted on a walkway the integrated radar transceiver can count pedestrians walking parallel to the the devices surface.

PCR2-ODS has an integrated MPPT solar charger and a temperature controlled battery. Normally the device works with solar energy. The battery can bridge the night and up to 4 days fog.

Readings are transmitted at regular intervals over a public or private LoRaWAN™ network. All parametric sensors are equipped with a USB configuration port for firmware setup and update.

Features

  • Rugged device with protection level against water and dust
  • Anonymous people counting by using 24 GHz radar
  • Bi-directional
  • Interval or totalizer
  • LoRaWAN™ data uplink intervals between 1min up to 1 day
  • Integrated solar charger
  • Integrated backup battery with battery heater
  • Configuration via USB-Port or LoRaWAN™ Downlinks
  • Pole or surface mount
  • Firmware updates over USB
  • Free Lifetime firmware updates
  • Swiss made
  • 24 months warranty

Applications

  • Security

Technical Specification

Note: This technical specs relate to Firmware 4.0

Side Mounting

When mounted at a wall or at a pole, PCR2-ODS can detect people passing by in both directions on walkways 0.5m up to 5m wide.

IMPORTANT: Persons walking side-by-side will be counted as one person.

Wall mounting

Tilted

The device can be mounted at a pole at around 3m facing towards the walkway. Our pole mount MT80-10 (accessory) can be used for that.

IMPORTANT: Persons passing by walking side by side ca not be separated and will be counted as one person.
